Una delle problematiche principali degli edifici in legno è rappresentata dal nodo di attacco alle base delle pareti sulla struttura di fondazione. Il dettaglio di attacco a terra è infatti un particolare costruttivo essenziale e critico di tutti gli edifici con struttura portante in legno: per tale motivo la sua progettazione prima, e l’esecuzione poi, necessitano particolare attenzione.
In questo articolo si affronta e si approfondisce il problema da un punto di vista generale per poi analizzare le varie soluzioni attualmente proposte nel panorama delle costruzioni in legno.
Si illustrerà infine una nuova soluzione per il nodo di base degli edifici con struttura a pareti in legno costituita da un elemento prefabbricato lineare in calcestruzzo da impiegare in alternativa ai metodi tradizionali e/o attualmente in commercio.
The technological detailing of the wall-to-r.c. foundation node is one of the most critical issues in timber buildings. This node is a critical construction detail for all buildings with a timber structure. For this reason, its design and construction need particular attention.
This article firstly describes and examines in depth the problem from a general point of view and then analyses the various solutions currently proposed in the panorama of timber constructions.
Finally, a new solution for the connection of buildings with timber wall structure the foundation is proposed: the innovative technology consists of a linear prefabricated concrete element to be used as an alternative to traditional or systems available on the market.
