The Summer School on Historic Masonry Structures (see https://www.himass.org/) is one of the centres of cultural and scientific debate on the structural analysis of monuments, and one of the places where lecturers and students from different countries exchange views on real monuments and case studies. Again this year, as in the previous edition, this issue of Structural brings together four papers with case studies approached in an interdisciplinary way with the combination of digital survey techniques, traditional static methods and advanced structural analysis techniques.
La Summer School on Historic Masonry Structures (see https://www.himass.org/) è uno dei centri di approfondimento e dibattito scientifico sull’analisi strutturale dei monumenti ed uno dei luoghi dove docenti e studenti provenienti da diversi paesi si confrontano su monumenti e casi di studio reali. Anche quest’anno, come nella precedente edizione della scuola, questo numero di Structural raccoglie quattro articoli con i casi di studio affrontati in modo interdisciplinare attraverso la combinazione di tecniche di rilievo digitale, metodi tradizionali di verifica e tecniche avanzate di analisi strutturale.
